Texas rigged Mr. Twister 6 inch purple worm on a Zebco 33 outfit @ a farm pond....I was probably about 8 to 10 years old. The fish was probably a 2 pounder; and that maybe stretching it a little, but to me at the time it was a monster..........

Al's Goldfish. It was a gold spoon shaped like a fish that I got in a lure kit that I ordered from the Gadabout Gaddis show.

Black & yellow H&H spinner.
I was fishing off the rocks on Miller Road on my bicycle. I took it to a little meat market that used to be at Chaha & Hwy 66 and weighed it on their scales. It went 5.20 pounds and I thought it was a new lake record! LOL
I wrapped that rope stringer around my handlebars & pedaled all over town as that poor dead bass slapped my leg going down the road. It made all my buddies jealous!

My first bass was an accident. I was muskie fishing in northern WI and caught a bunch of bass on a muskie lure called a Suick.

My first was bank fishing a farm pond about 45 years ago. Orange with black spots Kwikfish crankbait. Saw it chase it to the bank and take it right in front of me. Hooked from then on.
And I know who "Jeff" is.
