Ok fellow TFFer's...I'm really tired of buying scales that won't last much more than one season. Who's got the better one that will be dependable, accurate, and more robust? Has a good culling option as well.....

I have the Berkley Precision Scales - 35 Lb. Digital Precision
http://www.berkley-fishing.com/products/tools-and-equipment/classics/scale-35-lb-digital-precision
These have been very good for me. I have two brand new pairs I can sale for $25. I bought some for my HS Team through Pure Fishing and I have to buy them in multiple sets.

Just pick a weight you like, long arm it for the photo, throw it back. Guide trick. You will catch more 10# fish that way, a lot more.

I'm beginning to think that. Just looked in my latest BASS magazine at the lunker photos. There is no way some of those fish weight that much. Two guys my BIL knows from Massachussetes made it in there, one of them said he caught an 11 on a river up there, fish looks to be about 4 pounds. BIL said he has been getting ripped up there.

Go with the 15 pound Boga Grip. Mine have weighted to within 1oz for over 10 years. They are always ready to go. When I can't tell the difference in weight between two bass on the boga, I find on a balance beam they usually only tilt around 15 degrees at the most.

I have a system where I just write down the weights in 1/8 pound steps and if it is just a little over I add a plus. A little under I add a minus. The plus and minus is just short hand for +/-1/16 pound (1oz). On the official scales at tournament weigh-in it is rare to be off by more than 1oz.

I have been using the Accu Cull for the AH Working Man's T. It weighs in 100ths. You just have to be aware that if you push the wrong button, it will weigh in Kg, instead of 100s or oz. It has those 3 options on it. Bought it last year and it has done the job admirably. Hope this helps.

Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

Also has Rapala in oz. and Berkley in 10ths.

Cull M Rite for the best in accuracy.

15# Boga Grip for durability.

Lord, I hope I don't have to buy a set every year. Bought a Berkley digital scale this last year, sure hope it lasts longer than a year or two.
Being digital though, Arghhhhhhh it's going to have to have a battery sometime.
Just my 2 cents

Here is what we use and we are on our second season with it with no problems. I like it because it keeps track of yall your fish and total weight. It's always been within .2 - .3lbs of whatever the tournament scales have read.

$39.99 doesn't hurt too bad either.
