 Which is better the Humminbird 598 or Humminbird 798

I am just curious. I know the 798 has the interlink and a outside puck and the 598 has an internal GPS. I am just thinking that the 598 will get me closer to my waypoint. If I have my puck mounted at the back of the boat, wouldn't it be off the distance from the puck to the front unit? I need your thoughts.

The larger screen always trumps other features in my book. Simply mount your gps puck right beside the drivers seat. Problem solved.

Actually the displays are the same size on the 598 and 798.
The main difference is the 798 has 3 preset buttons and 2 memory cards and the 598 only has one of each.
Also you can't network a 598, other than that they are the mostly the same.
 I've never been good, But I've been Lucky! I don't Lie or Exaggerate, but sometimes I remember BIG!
