Congrats to my friend Matthew @ Jigum Jigs. He does create the best hand tied jigs ever produced. In fact he has mentored and schooled a lot of the jig tier's on this forum. Bottom line is his jigs are top notch.

I have fished with Chuck and with Wally. When Matthew gets back on his feet I'll be trying for a grand slam. PS, I have also fished with the man that started this thread and he can hold his own with anybody.

Thanks for the compliments guys. It's been a fun way to make a living most of the time. I've had the pleasure of fishing with Wally & Matthew multiple times, both great guys. When its easy, it's like a dream job but when it's tough I garauntee you it's mentally challenging and stressful. Not knowing where the fish are and knowing if you can't produce some you won't get paid is the stressful part. That's where years of experience come into play. The slow season takes some getting used to also. It's not for everyone that's for sure.

Chuck, speaking for myself, I think 'wow, what a great job you have' but, then I stop and think about it and wouldn't have it if I was capable! Those down times you spoke of and the stress of producing has to be extremely stressful and honestly, I don't know how you can do it!
But, you do a great job and we're all greatful to have people like you to
help promote our sport.
That goes for Jigum and Wally as well!
I'd go nuts if not for crappie fishing!

Now how did I miss this. I was off the net for just a couple days and look what happens. Matt, OkieBob, and Big Crappie all get promoted!!!!!

A friend and I had the pleasure of fishing with Mr. Rollins a year ago next month. As I had told the young feller ( Mr. Rollins ),considering my age. I have not caught Crappie as big as the Crappie he put us on. I enjoyed the trip very muncho. Thank you Mr. Rollins. Now, I wish he had autograghed one of those Crappie ! !

Bobby, ole Ratmo seems to always be lurking around whatever ramp I use. Put the boat on the trailer and there he is! I don't know how he does it but, he does!
