Looks like a good "home" for the constantly on-the-road fisherman.

Bro, if your paying more for gas than diesel, then you better find another gas station. Up here, gas is considerably cheaper, as I said in my post.

A little off this topic but concerning gas versus diesel. The generators in the gas motor homes run off the main tank. So in theory you have 40-50 gallons of generator fuel. If you get a diesel motor home then you end up with a propane generator. You end up filling the tank about every 2-3 weeks.

I know the larger motor homes and buses do have diesel generators but we are talking about motor homes small enough to two and launch with. None of them do.

Those camper vans really don't have a lot of towing capacity. All the capacity is taken up by the weight of the conversion.

I trailer with a 2002 Chevy 3/4 ton conversion van with Quigley 4wd conversion. I love it. Its got way more room than the truck. The seats are like lazyboys. Works awesome with young kids. We take it on the beach and have picnics. Its got a 350 and does great. Fuel mileage is not bad either.....guessing around 12-13mpg with a boat. Sportsmobile makes custom camper vans and can convert vans to 4x4. They have made some pretty neat ones set up for hunting and fishing that have less accomodations so they can tow more. They have pop up tops for them that can give you like 7ft of headroom and then double as a full size bed. You can do tons of different things with them.

That would be a great tournament rig. But, out of my price range for extras.

I see a problem with low water launching with those conversion vans.
You would probably have to get so deep to get the boat off the trailer, you would have water in your bed before you got it off the trailer.

Looks pretty good but the price seems high. Those things have horrible resale. I am thinking $15-$20K less for that year model. Don't care how much bling it has inside.

My dad has a similar one.

After riding once it in with him I now refer to it as the "predator" van. You get looks like like your a child predator from folks. Lol....

Looks comfy inside though.

I towed with a 22' class c for about five years and the only ramp I ever had a problem on was at the Stik Marsh in Fla.

That van should have no problems as long as the springs in the back can handle the tong weight as well as the weight of all of the stuff in it.
