where are the common carp around southeast texas? Looking for buffalo or carp access from a bank? How about the Taylors Bayou or Hildebrant? Any help appreciated.

Trying to catch anything that swims.
Commons, Buffs, whatever....

The easier to answer question would be....."Where are there no common carp in SE Texas?"

Pretty much every water body connected to a stream, ditch, river, big lake, estuary, etc. that I have sampled, had common carp. Buffalo, not as often as carp.

Lake Woodlands may have some biguns, but there was big virus die off a few years ago in there (KHV). In my area (Brazoria County), pretty much all the bayous, reservoirs, ditches, and other streambeds, have common carp in them.

I've seen some really big carp, mullet, and tilapia in the concrete bayous around Houston as well.
