Check out Power Tackles Swimbait/ A-rig rod its a 7"11 mag-heavy it gets the job done, plus there made right in Texas wink

its all about the lure weight. 4oz minimum, 6oz preferred. after that its all about how much you want to spend on a rod.......try looking at 8ft muskie rods, I love them.

Check out the irod for the bamarig! They have a rod just for the bamarig and it is a sweet rod! Come by the fun n sun boat and tackle show and check out the irods!

Shimano Crucial 7-9 A rig rod is another good choice.

I fished with Skeeter Fowler two years ago and I think he was using an Okuma,, I was getting out casted by 90'.. He throws that OBAMA rig a bunch,,, He would be really good for advise.
