Livington and Conroe. Livingston is a big bowl with stumps, and Conroe has so much boat traffic a calm day will beat you to death.

When and where would that boat be located?

I've been on all the lakes mentioned here many times. None is worse than lake Austin in the summer when lake Travis is too low for people to launch. The number of times I've had to reel up my line when making a 20-30 ft or less pitch to reeds or some other structure because a boat decided there was more room to run through there on plane than the rest of the lake is crazy. Then there all are the wake surfing idiots throwing huge waves slamming everything in the water all around. It is actually easier to run in 6-8 foot waves on Choke Canyon or Rayburn than through the chop on Austin this last summer. I've done all three.

I no longer fish Austin in warm water and weather because it is just too risky/uncomfortable. Even at night can be risky with the number of boats running around without navigation lights. The fishing is great, but the non-fishing boat drivers are plain nuts.

Your right riverdogbone these internet heroes don't know anything about choke the reason that there's no accidental drownings at choke is that people aren't dumb enough to jump in the lake with those monsters lurking every where and there's no telling how many people drown at falcon that nobody hears about

Had one of those fronts sneak up on me before out there as well. Choke Canyon will surprise you as well.

Toledo Bend is scary too because of all the stumps and the fact that you HAVE to run the boat lanes no matter how the wind is blowing, but i've never seen waves like the ones I did on Falcon.

They all get bad with the drunk ski boats! Conroe is horrible because of the bulkheads, and ski boats, and dumassis. But when the wind blows just right, any lake can get deadly. Our 2nd day on Waco this last October we had the first front of the year roll in and that little lake produced 4-5 ft waves. Needless to say I don't want to be in a nitro again lol.. But with that said don't wait to late to beat the weather. Get off the lake when its gonna get nasty!! Worst for me was Livingston in feb. took two over the bow of the infamous champion! It was just down right nasty that day!! Gotta say that's the only time but riding the back of waves that big sucks...

Welsh will be one this weekend if people do not be extra careful. There will be at least 4 tournaments there this weekend. There will be those that think they have to beat somone to a fishing hole and run the lake with GPS in the fog. This could be a disaster! Please use common sense!

I am surprised I didn't see Richard Chambers mentioned.

That one can get ugly but in my experience I would say Toledo Bend.
