I'm looking at buying a Duckett Rod but not sure which one will fit me best. I cant afford a rod for each method of fishing. I fish a lot of Texas rigs, jigs, spinner baits, top water, and usually around a lot of brush, weeds, stumps, and some open water. I'm leaning towards the 7' medium heavy macro magic. What's yalls opinion?

I like the 7' 3" Temple Fork Outfitter in Medium Heavy for an all purpose rod. They are great rods that are cheap enough at $149.00 and have a very good warrantee also.

I have a 6' 10" that I throw t rigs, spinnerbaits, and some smaller jigs with. Absolutely love this rod! Has somewhat of a fast tip to absorb some of the hook set and a great meaty backbone to get them out of whatever you are around.

I have a 7'3 medium heavy that I think is a very good all around rod. Trig, jig, some square bills, traps, chatter baits...I like it a lot!

My fishing partner has around 15 of them, he loves them. The only ones I have fished are his cranking rods and I liked them as well.

I got several ducketts and I like each one of them although I did break one today first , I ever broke and been fishing with them awhile , but soon as I can find one like the one I broke I will buy another one just like it. I think for the money they are the best you can buy in that price range , and the sensativety is great.

I'm wondering if the new ghost duckett rods at $99 bucks are as good as the original duckett rods

don't get one. don't compromise and get one rod that is ok for all of those techniques. don't get me wrong ducketts are great rods, i have one myself and its great but id rather get a rod that excellent in 2-3 presentations and get two of those than 1 that's ok for all of them. you can do what ever you want but if were you i would get two rods than 1.

temple fork rods are great! Denali koverts and jadewords are also great, also falcon bucoo's are awesome rods
