It was on fire two weeks ago. Gonna head that way next weekend, but there is gonna be a tournament. Dont know if I will be in the mood to handle the crowds. I dont know if the fish will be pre spawn or spawn yet, but I bet they will be close. If it's on it shouldnt be hard to figure out. Fish something different than everyone else.

It was pretty good earlier this week but I think they had two tournaments out there today so the fish might be a bit line shy right now.

There were 7 tournaments there today! After the parking filled up, they were no longer letting any other boats thru the gate!

That wasn't a misprint, 7 tournaments. I have never seen it so crowded, they opened the overflow ramp and parking lot and it was full. Never seen this area used before and have been fishing Martin for years. Looked like a Mcdonald's tournament out there! As you would expect with that many boats, it sucked. Last 2 tourneys out there we had 19+ lbs. Weighed 9.41 today and got a 4th place check, took 14 1/2 to win ours. Only got to watch one other weigh-in because there were so many going on at the same time, 13 1/2 took it. Lake needs a break but I'm sure it won't get one for the next couple of months...JEEEZ!

I seriously have no idea where you'd fit 120 boats on that lake. You could probably walk from the bridge to the hot water discharge deck to deck and never get wet lol.

That is roughly 41 acres or 1,785,960 sq feet per boat. fish

the will be at least one tournament each day next weekend, I know someone who is fishing both. We were there 3 weekends ago and caught about 40 or so fish, what a great day.

According the state park there were 8 tournaments today. They posted some pictures of the parking lots on their FB page. If I were to have shown up there this morning I would have turned around and went home. lol

Today they put about a hundred of them in the hot water side, maybe not deck to deck but I'm certain every single boat had another within casting distance of them at all times. I counted 17 boats, at one time, was the most around us and about 8 of those within casting distance. plenty of room on the main lake to fish, saw maybe three boats the whole 5 miles of lake coming to weigh-in. JEEZ-LOO-EEEZ!!! bang
