Would the BB1 pro be better than the super duty for deep cranking. Have only owned one lews and I loved it. Would like some info from you lews guys.

I have a BB1 for cranking. The complaint... The brake system is a **(*&$ pain to access and adjust. For that reason I would go with the super duty if it's a decent reel.

I have two tourney pros in 5.4. Have worked good for me so far.

I haven't picked up a super duty yet, but I plan to for my flipping stick.

Should be a good choice

BB1 pro is just a dial for the brake system, it's not like the BB1. I have both and I really like the BB1 pro.

I used the 6.4 tourney pro for SB fishing. Never thought to use it for deep divers.
I may give that a try to

The 5.4:1 Super Duty would make a fine crankbait reel but I would opt for the BB1. It's got a wider spool and it throws a little farther than the Super Duty.

Some folks say that fishin on a Sunday is a sin, but if a fish bites my line, you know I'm gonna reel him on in!

+1. I will be at the Mesquite Tackle Expo in the Olsens / Pro Am fishing / Lews booth tomorrow. If some of you get a chance come by and talk to me about these reels. We will have some discounted pricing off MSRP also.

Went with the lews bb1 pro. Don't know about the anti reverse on this reel. Gonna be interesting to see how does.
