My closest friends and I go on a fishing trip every year and this year we decided to go to Big Sam. We have never fished here before, nor have we stayed overnight. There are 6 of us. What are some good places to stay? we are staying for 3 nights. I would like something on the water if possible. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks again

Check out Powell Park. They have cabins that can handle your group. Ramp right there at park. Boat slips also if needed.

Bass Buster Inn. Close to everything and a good place with good people.

Bass Buster Inn on the south end of the lake. Or Powell Park cabins off of FM 705. I've stayed at both. Prefer The cabins at Powell.

I went for the first time at the end of Dec and stayed at Bass Buster Inn. Close to Ramp, restaurant, convenient store, and tackle stores. Reasonable rates and big enough parking spots to leave your boat hooked up to the truck.

The only mentioned that is water front has been Powell Park. I'm not a fan, but Sam Rayburn Marina has cabins that are water front and they have nice boat slips. South end and close to good restaurant, convenience store and 2 tackle shops. You shouldn't have a problem getting a reservation there.
Hopefully no one says Jackson Hill. They are water front but not the nicest in the world.
