My son and I spent January 3rd and 4th at Falcon with Billy Tompkin (Bassin Billy). With the conditions as they were and Falcon fishing as tough as it has been I was hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Falcon did not treat us to a lot bites but what she did give up was nice. If you are planning a trip to Falcon and need a guide look up Billy ( www.lakefalconfishing.com). I could not have asked for anything more from a guide. He worked his butt off to get me and my 11 year old son on fish. He was very professional and helpful in every aspect of our trip. When you take a child fishing in the conditions we were in a lot of things can go wrong. Billy went above and beyond to make my our experience a once and lifetime event.     To top it off we both came away with our personal bests. My son's fish was 5.99 and my fish was 10.16.

Great job, 928. Father/son trips are some of the best trips I've been on, even if we blank. Enjoy that time with him. Sounds like you guys picked the right guide, too. WTG Billybass!

My son asked for a trip to falcon for his birthday...so I said what the heck. He absolutely loves to be on the water and will fish you from daylight to dark. I know that in a few years girls will be more important than fishing with the ol man so I want to grab as many of these days as I can. Falcon is an amazing place, even in some of the toughest conditions she gave us our PB's.

Let me tell you I had a blast with these two. I will tell you this Trent the son is one of the best fishermen I have seen at 11 years old ever. He threw that crankbait all day and could do it with accuracy. Watch for his name in a couple of years because this kid will be a stick.
Mike I was honored to fish with you guys and can't wait to see what happens in the future..

Looks like the fish down there are ready to bust. How far away do you think the spawn is. Looks like they are just waiting on the temps to warm up some.
