I'm moving to Houston this week and I will have to stay in a apartment until June. I need to find a reasonable price storage facility but also secure. Any help would be appreciated.

I used to use Affordable Storage which was around hwy 6 and Richmond on the west side of Houston. There is also a place on the west side of Katy as you go west on i10. I only know of the place from passing it on the highway and don't know anyone storing there.

I keep mine up by Stowaway Marina on Lake Conroe. Much cheaper by the lake. $65 a month with concrete drive and storage. Lots of areas of Houston have either little storage or its expensive.

B. Dill looking at the southwest to west side of town. I will be in the Greenway Plaza area until June. This is when the family can move and I will buy a house. Look at buying in the Cypress, Katy or Richmond area.

Good luck finding something under $100 around Houston. I called around last week looking for a place and found nothing. Nothing like back home in Fayetteville for $55 a month totally covered and safe.

Look at buying in the Cypress, Katy or Richmond area. I live in the Cypress area. There are tons of storage facilities out here on Grant Rd, Huffmeister, Telge, Spring Cypress, etc... Once you get about 3 miles north of 290 in Cypress it's pretty rural for being only 20 miles outside the city. I like living on this side of town... 1.5 hours to Fayette, 2 hours to Austin area, 50 minutes to conroe, 1 hour to Gibbons, 1.5 hours to Livingston and 3 hours to the big east texas lakes. Safe Harbor is a new storage facility out this way. It looks real nice and secure. https://www.google.com/maps/preview#!data=!1m4!1m3!1d4293!2d-95.6431704!3d29.9729412!4m34!2m11!1m10!1s0x0%3A0xa96733800bf678ac!3m8!1m3!1d443089!2d-95.4012915!3d29.817178!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!5m21!1m20!1ssafe+harbor+storage!4m8!1m3!1d443089!2d-95.4012915!3d29.817178!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!10b1!17b1!26m3!1e12!1e13!1e3!27m3!1ssafe+harbor+storage!2sHouston%2C+TX!3s0x8640b8b4488d8501%3A0xca0d02def365053b
