Fishing must be pretty slow at Falcon. James just shows here when there is a good chance to bash SAL.

I don't think anyone on this post can prove its working or not workin either way. Until I see proof it's hurting our lakes in any way I will continue to support SAL and TPWD. They have done a great job with Texas wildlife and fisheries to this point.

I agree they do a good job with fish stockings, but wasting our tax dollars to destroy fish habitat is not good. I'm talking about stocking grass carp and spraying hydrilla in some lakes. I also think we would have a better chance of breaking a state record, on Lake Fork, if they would leave the large bass in the lake alone.

SLA may not be successful in produceing another state record but its been very successful in bringing the quality of fish all over the state which I believe is a lot more important than any record fish.Id whole lot rather enjoy the fruits of their labor than chase around dreamin of catchin a world record.

I just show when there is a good chance to bash SL?? Haters gonna hate..

At least I try to offer some factual imput on occasion rather that firing off one liners from behind a rock..

I understand that some folks think that if your government says it is good.. Then you will never question it.. There's a lot of that going around these days..

I get that.. And if I can't convince you otherwise I get that too.

But you guys think that SL has accomplished something.. And you can't tell me what..
I'm done with this topic.. Again..

I don't know much but I know if a 13+ is hauled around and not handled properly and dies, the lake doesn't benefit much. The question is, how many guys would release a 13+ if there was no incentive to keep it? How many would take them home? Until tpw forces everyone to release them, its a yearly debate.

I think many guys would handle that same fish just as much even if she wasn't turned into SL. How many people do you see have to make that trip to the marina, drag her out of the live well, throw her in a weigh bag, lay her on a dry set of scales and then pose with her for 9 different camera angles before taking her back to the live well and finally releasing her after a boat ride.

If I was you guys I'd never turn them in. When big bass are biting, ending your day to drag fish around means less chance to get another one smile I've only caught 25 over 13 though. So may not know what I'm talking about...

I see the TFF hasn't changed a bit. Gosh, can't you guys give credit where credit is due? Thanks to all that support this program and for the rest, lighten up and maybe do a little research on the sharelunker program.

All the fingerlings have no cover to go to and hide they are in the wide open for the white bass to eat . My grandfather was a big crappie fisherman and I remember in early 90s when he caught his first white bass he said that would take over the lake and I think he is right they are eating everything .
