Wondering if any guides have a half afternoon trip open tomorrow or Friday. If you do email me your contact and rate at joe.meissert AT gmail dot com. I am arriving on Fork at 8pm tonight and never winter fished fork before. Figure best way to learn is hire a guide!

Thanks,
Joe

I just want to follow up and let everyone know that I had a great trip with Justin. It was tough fishing in the morning hours but Justin is a dedicated guide and he never quit looking for the fish. I have only fished with about 5 guides in my life (took me awhile to figure out that is the best way to learn new techniques and water.... as well as being at a position in life I could afford it). In the end Justin put me on some fun fish, we didn't catch any trophies but did manage one at or over 5 lbs and a couple that were over 4 lbs, I would highly recommend Justin Margraves as a guide and I ended up changing my Hotel preference and stayed at Oak Ridge Marina strictly because of the Restaurant (best food I have found near Lake Fork) and Tracy the owner. Had a great stay at the lodge will definitely start staying there whenever they have availability.

Thanks again Justin, it was a great trip... Unfortunately not a trip of lifetime but a great Trip, besides I am young I would hate to think my "trip of lifetime" was already done and gone!!!

Joe

Oak Ridge is a great place and the people are good people over there.

Congrats on your day on the lake

The customer Service I got at OakRidge was second to none. I had a rod in the boat that needed some guides repaired and dropped it off pretty close to or after closing time and they made sure it was ready by Noon the next day (for 1/2 the price as anyone else I talked to). I think it was "Dave" or someone that does the Rod Repair... Having stayed at numerous places at Lake Fork over the past 20 years I am happy to have finally found Oak Ridge Marina, still trying to figure out how I missed it for 20 years....
