I've been fishing Grapevine and LL and haven't gotten bit in the last couple of weeks. Anyone else having any luck?

Well...guess I'll find something else to do this weekend.

Thank goodness for TFF.

I've actually had a really good winter so far. Ive gone to Lake Waco, Lake Texoma and hubbard and have had decent days.. the main way I've been catching em is jerk bait and a jig! some on a small strike king square bill....

Maybe it's just the lakes I'm fishing and/or what I'm throwing at them.

Lousy

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

I've been fishing lake Athens 3 times per week since the ice storm in early December.
Caught just a few small ones here and there, nothing the last 3 times out. Then SAL #551 comes from Athens one day after I got skunked. You just never know. Go fish, fish hard and then have a stiff one and talk about it,,,,,either way it's all good.

I feel a little better after reading how others are not doing well either. Thought it was just me. I fish Lake Dardanelle in Arkansas and the last 2 times out, I haven't got a bite. I'll be the first to admit, I'm no KVD, but dang, I can usually scrape out something. Dreaming about spring and 2 feet of water.
