I am working hard on getting some waist high waders and neoprene wading boots. I really had a blast stocking up at the overstockbait.com year end clearance sale. Prices are back to normal now but through Dec they were rediculously low.
Life is one big playground. Be sure to ride all the rides before it closes.

Just bought a lowrance elite 4x dsi. Hopefully I can figure out how to set it up without sinking my yak.

Mine was a 16" gear track for the top of the Black Pak. I thought I was grabbing a 12"...So, my next "purchase" will be after I return the 16", and use my in store credit for a 12".

My first fishing purchase of the year was a 2014 Texoma fishing license that I bought on 1/01/14. Seems the one I bought the day before on 12/31/13 had a start date of 12/31/13 and was valid through........... 12/31/13.

Seems the one I bought the day before on 12/31/13 had a start date of 12/31/13 and was valid through........... 12/31/13. Roger, The Texoma license is supposed to be one year from date of purchase. I would go back to the place where you bought that and make them correct that error. (and then you can by me lunch with that $12)

I would go back to the place where you bought that and make them correct that error. (and then you can by me lunch with that $12) The Texoma is a calendar year license ending 12/31. They made good on it......neither the guy selling it or I realized it was a "one day license" he sold me. According to others trying to pre-buy, they were told TPWD was not set up to sell the license until 1/01. I'll buy you lunch anyway.
