I had the pleasure to take Frank fishing today. Frank is a retired Game Warden and a heck of a fisherman. We caught our fish in 24 ft of water one crank off the bottom. PEPOPS lake Palestine jigs were the bait of the day. We did catch a few on minnows when the bite slowed. Hope everyone has a good New Years.

Yea the trip was great! That's the 155 bridge by lake Palestine resort. Josh we need to get out there and get a few. Y'all please keep Frank in your prayers. Shortly after our trip he had a small stroke and is in the hospital now.

Pepop said the lake is closed? In fact he swore it was closed and didn't have any crappie in it anyway???? And that if I did come over, I had to stop and get a pass from him???? Is he fibbing? Naw, say it ain't so!

By the number 0f boats I saw yesterday I would say the lake is open for buisness!
