Where do bluegill and sunfish hide out? never have had any luck in winter time catching these boogers. What bait would yall reccomend?

The Sunfish are in their winter patterns. peep You can find the Bluegill hiding in brush piles in water 12 to 20 feet deep. You need to fish slow this time of year. eeks If you fish creeks look for brush piles and water with good current. hmmm Also look for the deepest pools of water on the creek. If you can find creeks with some good moving water you should find some Longear. thumb Slow and patients are the winter rule of thumb. fish

For what I have been reading on this forum about winter Bluegill fishing you need to fish a little deeper and have patients.
