TFF Members,

I normally launch at Katy Woods and was wondering what it's like to launch right now. Also curious about the ramp at the end of Dove Rd.

Thank you!

I believe Katy woods is closed. Dove is useable but you will get wet and truck will be in the water

Katy woods is closed. Watched a guy launch yesterday at dove and it was pretty intresting. Would not be able to launch there by yourself unless you want to get wet. He had all four wheels of his truck in the water

After reading a few replies to my post, I'm probably going to Lewisville or Joe Pool. Thank you for the feedback; especially since I would be launching by myself.

Merry Christmas and have a blessed holiday season!

Does anyone have an update on the Grapevine ramp status? I searched everywhere on the web and couldn't find anything about closures. I'd really like to get the boat in the water tomorrow.

Dove loop ramp was open 2 days ago. I herd that if you launch there, when u are looking down at the ramp to go down the left side. People were hitting there prop on something on the right side

Yes, Dove Loop is open. I tried to put in there yesterday and couldn't do it. The front tires of my truck were just barely touching the edge of the water and the back end of the boat still wasn't floating. There's no telling how far I would have had to go to get it off the trailer.

That said, I ran into a couple of different folks out there that offered to help me. Not sure if any of them were TFFer's or not. But, the offers were greatly appreciated!
