After spudding a hole through the ice on Houghton Lake in Michigan I started jigging for Walleye. Thought I had hooked a good one and pulled up my ice skimmer that had fallen into my fishing hole the Winter before. Knew it was mine because I had built it in shop class with a stainless steel scoop. Guess I had a pretty good line up on the shoreline for my favorite spot.

I was stripper fishing at Whitney with a good friend. We were catching some pretty good fish. Biggest was 27lb. He hooked an anchor. He fought it for a long time. He swore it was a giant! The look on his face was priceless when we saw it. I've caught many weird things but that came to my mind as soon as I saw the post.

Fishing Ray Hubbard in the summer of last year, when my partner snagged a beaver. He still got it to the boat, before he cut the line. That was one hell of a fight. Funny to watch......
