My friend Ivan Roberts, his son Michael, grandson Mason, and I left our slip at Little Glasses Marina and began our search for stiper. Very few fish in Little Glasses area but we tried a few little clusters of fish but had no bites. We went out into the deeper water in Big Glasses between LG and Bridgeview. We marked a good cluster of fish in 42' of water and started dead sticking. We caught our limit of 8 overs very quickly and when we ran out of fish on that drift we had kept 10 box fish. We had also released 16 overs. The largest weighed in at 14 lbs. All were caught deadsticking with flukes with our flapper going. Best part of the day was watching 8 yr.old Mason catch 5 fish by himself and all were overs. I'm afraid he is ruined for life, being addicted to fishing. I posted pics on six old geezerss titled "Great day"

Would you mind explaining what your "flapper" is?
Love to learn new 'tricks' and getting good at thumping boat with a stick.
So what is a flapper?
![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/usergals/2015/03/full-13-47204-guice.jpg) Go early, stay late! The best time to go fishing is as soon as you can!

A flapper is a device that you put on a trolling motor that slaps the water calling the fish in. You can learn more about it at the sixoldgeezers.com site. Gerge Lenning makes and sells them.
