Creek X-R2 is pushing out 15-20 fish everyday 2-8 lbs. Can't get in by boat so foot power it is. All the creeks are loaded with shad now and the bass are tearing them up. Creek X-99Q has topwater and schooling action every evening.

New 20 inch C&R record for this body of water

I know the bass go in the creeks as well as the crappie and catch them on main lakes every year while fishing for crappie with jigs and roadrunners but have yet to catch one out of the creeks in the winter. I guess maybe i need to change baits this year since the crappie are not doing very good this winter in the creeks.

Are these resident fish? Or do they push up from a lake?

In that chocolate milk environment I've found them holding tight to cover.

Bank Bass trips $150. Private area access with bowfin, bass, and crappie. It's up to u know when to set the hook on those. I just know where they live. Live bait trips are $200 for two peeps. Bass from 3-7 lbs ave. some 8-11's in there as well. Bow fin are 3-7 lbs but not very active in the winter. Best thing is live bait trips. Circle hooking a live gill near the stucture.
