I have a HDS 10. It is about a year old and I have never had any problems with it. Last time out, I had no contour lines. I am using a 2012 Navionics Platinum chip with all the latest updates. I managed to work through the menu and find the fish n chip. When I turned it back on the contour lines came on again. Now I have the unit connected to a power supply inside the house and again no contour lines. I went back thru the menu to turn on the fish n chip and it is not accessible. I have used the power supply many times with no problems. I am sure the problem is in the settings somewhere but I can not find it. How do I get the contour lines to show on my chart?

try a soft rest on your hds unit.. also make sure you switch chart data to navionics.

Jason, I did the soft reset. The unit said it was configuring and gave me some options. When it finished I went to the menu to turn on the fish n chip again. It is still not accessible and I have no contours on the navionics map.
OK I made a couple of adjustments and I now can access the fish n chip and I have contour line again.
