I want to get a guided trip and take my boys fishing for a Christmas present. I have the 1st week of the year off but we can postpone it if we need too until the fishing gets good. I need some guide recommendations for each lake to help me make a decision. Thanks!

Falcon has been hit or miss of late and mostly miss. The bad news aside, when you do get bit it's usually gonna be quality.

Good luck with whatever you decide and have fun with them boys.

Keep an eye on extended forecast. Neither place is going to have great fishing, so pick the lake that has the best forecast smile

Going to Falcon next June to fish with Jay. If you head down there give him a call he has been very helpful getting my trip set up.

I like both places, Fished Falcon way more than Fork. I'd say whichever one is the closest, that way you get more fishing time.

Thanks, Billy

I'd schedule either lake this spring, far enough out that they could get both a spawn and post spawn bite. I think they would have a much better time......

After some careful thought the boy's came up with a great idea. We are going to try and get a guide trip on Fork for the spawn and go to Falcon this fall as a pre Christmas gift for next year.
