heres the deal with virtually all electric fillet knives sold in the US. They are all made in china, and all pretty much the same, as far as durabilty, ergonomics, safety, ect. What the problem is is that the blades are trash, and the sharpness of the blades is very inconsistant. You may buy an electric knife that comes with a very sharp set of blades, and it will work great. If the knife comes with a so/ so set of blades the knife will work so/so. The duller the blades the harder the knife has to work. You can go buy a new set of replacement blades and they may be duller than the blades you are replacing. If the blades are sharp and even and work the way they are supposed to, the knife doesnt have to work hard. If someone made a high quality set of blades that stayed sharp for a long time and fit the more common name brand electric knives, they would get rich. The problem is the blades , not the electric motor units.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Bought one... not too impressed... Might work on crappie, but not so good on hybrids... If you have electricity available a 15.00 dollar electric will work better.. Just my .02$....

They work good on crappie, and decent on whites and cats. Not so good on cleaning hybrid. Two batteries, when fully charged, will easily clean a limit of crappie or sandies. It will clean two limits but it just takes a little longer as the batteries start to wear. They have their time and place but are not a complete substitute for a plug in knife.

Thanks for the input. Looks like I may be getting one for Christmas. I have a private lake I can fish and there is no power there. I like to clean them at the lake as we sometimes go to the company park for a fish fry and taking a generator is a pain. Thanks again.
