i caught them one day in a tournament here on table rock 111ft. deep suspended over 150 ft. of water. bass can be as deep or as shallow as they need to be. here on table rock this time of the year, the threadfin shad can be any where after the turnover. fronts, water clarity, and amount of sunshine will determine how deep they might be. they change each day and you have to go hunt them.

Before I started serious tournament fishing some years ago, some of my fishing time was spent Crappie fishing on Fork in 40' to 50' water. Caught many big bass on minnows that deep. Never tried with artificial's that deep though. Barry St'Clair could probably tell you something about deep bass at Fork while Crappie fishing.
