Spoonbill/Paddlefish are not endangered here in this part of Oklahoma. The Wildlife Department is constantly maintaining the regulations. They are changing them to 2 fish kept for the year and they must be checked in, like a deer tag here. I encourage catch and release. The hooks we use by law are barbless and the fish are handled as little as possible for a quick pic and release to keep survival rate high. This type of fishing is an absolute blast! If you'd like to book a trip or are interested in more information give me a call/text/PM/email. There are plenty of options for lodging in the area and is a great way to spend a fun filled weekend.
Sandjohnny and Tex, I hope you are fully recovered from the battles and I look forward to the next adventure. Thank you for the kind words Tex. I hope your ears recover from the grueling 3 days of jabbering from the old man you had to endure.
