Better yet, buddy evidently called Ford and got the scoop. Weird deal for sure.

Guys,

It's very simple. The original promotion on Idealoutfitter has expired. As mentioned, it was a limited time offer.
Those anglers that purchased a vehicle using that program will indeed fish Bass Champs for free for the next two years.
The new program is very straight forward. Go to http://www.basschampsvip.com to see the program.
When you purchase a vehicle from any dealer on this site. (Over 100 dealers on the list) you receive the following.
1. Two free entry fees immediately ($560 value)
2. Ford Bonus eligibility. (Highest qualified Ford finisher at every event receives free entries for an entire 12 months) over $5000 value
3. ATV drawing registration.

I'm not aware of any other truck brand that offers an incentive that provides the opportunity to fish for for 27 new trucks for free in 2014 other than Ford.

If you are in the market for a new vehicle and you want to compete in the largest tournament trail in Texas then it makes sense to purchase a new Ford from a dealer listed on Bass Champs.
In addition to building a great vehicle, the incentives for Bass Champs anglers are awesome.

Hope this helps clear things up.

Merry Christmas!

Chad Potts, President
Bass Champs, Inc.

So Chad are the vehicles I sold to friends that chose to stick with me and not go thru ideal outfitters eligible ? I have two that bought after the FDAF deal but before IDO expired what can I do for them to get their two entries and entered into the drawing?

Merry Christmas.

Anyone who purchased a new ford from one of the dealers listed on our site after September 1st, 2013 receives the new Ford program. If they purchased it using the Idealoutfitter program they should already be registered for the two year deal.

If you know someone that purchased a new Ford from a dealer on the following page http://www.basschamps.com/web/2014/texasforddealers.htm after Sept 1st that didn't get it from an Idealoutfitter dealer they can go to http://www.fordbonus.com and register it to receive the two free entries, the ford bonus at tournaments and the ATV registration.

I talked to Chad (the pres)at bass champs through email and he confirmed it. It is financed along with the rest of your purchase. I've still got the email, send me a pm if you want to see it I'll forward it to ya. Someone posted this actually happening to them about a month or more ago and the mods here deleted several threads about the subject. He's trying to put a positive spin on it since they got caught and changed the program. Read the email and judge for yourself

I thought the free entry was only for the "INDIVIDUAL" who purchased the truck. So for the team tournament entry of $280 the Ford owner was the only one being covered for the entry ($140)and not the other team member. So is the Ford Entry covering the "ENTIRE" $280 for the team?

I don't believe they tried to put a spin on anything. Bass Champs is the number 1 trail in Texas and is run by the best. Chad is a stand up guy and has no need to screw anyone over.

It covers the angler that bought the truck, if he fished as a team it covers his half, if he fishes by himself it covers the full entry fee.

I dont see what the problem is, the originally deal said for a limited time. A lot of people jumped on the deal and got it. Now that deal has expired. Sounds pretty cut and dry.

It only covered the entry fee for the person that bought the truck. So it only covers $140 of the entry fee. If the person that bought the truck chooses to fish solo, then Ford will pay the whole $280 entry fee.

so if one man of a team buys a ford he gets his half of entry paid to 4 tournaments? if fish solo he gets 2 full? not sturring just clearing up my confusion.
