Ill be heading out there for the first time this weekend. Does anyone have any advice? Went yesterday, 20+ fish in about 5 hours. Did well on 6XD's and Fat Free Shad by the intake and dam. Some jig thumps on some rock piles and end of the dike. Talked to some boats on the way out and heard Carolina rig was working, usually throw watermelon red flukes.

Hey bud, word of advice. Take your pictures away from where you catch your fish. Otherwise, everyone fishing Fayette for the next month is gonna pound that spot. Pretty obvious where you were. If that's what you did, then you got me on this one. Darn nice fish!! Especially for Fayette, congrats!!

Plan on fishing Fayette on sat if the weather holds out! Will post the results.

Normally I would, but I'm not fishing any tournaments out there and the dam isn't really a secret spot. I'd love it if everyone that went out there had the day I had.

Depends on your skill level, gear, ...arthitis. Drop-shot, texas rig, carolina rig usually very well for me on that lake.
