My partner and I had a good catch Tuesday at lake Conroe. Putting in the boat I took note of the water clarity, really nice this time of the year. We fished north of the 1097 bridge from 8 am till around 2 pm. Light wind and a setting full moon. These are some conditions for a good bite around noon. Timber and creek channels are where we found them hungry. 20 juglines set in 20 ft of water fished with ck livers. We ran our lines 3 times and caught 30 kepers, blues and channels. One big blue around 30 lbs was cpr'd. It was sure nice to get out after that spell of bad weather. I have to get out again to catch big fish this time of year.
