I was thinking the same thing. Went running this morning and it was beautiful out. The wind was starting to kick up a little, but it should be at your back on the way out of the creek. Hope you guys tear them up. Looking forward to the report.

I am looking for the report too. I hope all went well and the guys are safe. I lost some of the roof off my barn due to the wind today. Although up in the Yegua they were probably not affected much...Lawton

It was a drag... What started out as a bright sunny December Saturday turned to a cold, cloudy, windy yak dragging fishing feat of endurance for four men and a little boy..

Great video! Way to tough it out and catch some fish. I got cold just watching the video and hearing that wind blow.

Once again, made the long paddle from NCSP into Yegua Creek. The fishing is still really good. Ended the day with 13 keeper Crappie and a White Bass. The trick today was slow rolling the jig along the bottom. I caught some fish vertically jigging as well, but they tended to be smaller. The bigger fish were hanging out on the bottom. Also caught a few White Bass at one spot, but they were on the small side.
Saw fellow TFF'er "UltraLite84" out on the creek again. He was catching some nice ones. Nice job, Hector.

If I would get here more often I would've told you that I would've been at Yegua today, Jarred. I'm glad you made the trip in there!
Yes, the slow rolling did the trick today, under cork as well about 2 a half foot deep. Fish were hard to find today but once found, the bite was good. Caught one good sized white too and a dink. It was a beautiful day today, I would've been just as happy If I went home empty handed. Went home with a lil over a dozen
Hope to get to fish with you one day, HL&S! You probably don't remember me, but I ran into you once in the creek sometime last year. I've heard great things about you! Keep up the great work, man.
