Gene,I like the way the two in the middle are tied really sparse!

Gene,I like the way the two in the middle are tied really sparse! I do too. He made those two almost look like bare hooks!!!

yep; you gotta hold them up in the light to see the bucktail dressings, which are very translucent; outta be killers!!!!!!!-p-

getting ready for the pickerel-p- Hey Guys, guess yall wont be surprised for me to tell you that I dont like bending hooks  If a hook is soft enough to bend it will open up on a big fish.(not pickeral?) If a hook has enough temper it will break. I tie all bend back patterns on 60 degree bend jig hooks Gene,I did see the jig hooks on your photo nice work

George; there's not any pickerel in Texas that's gonna bend a hook; used to be some in Caddo but I haven't heard of a 4 pound pickerel in years. I've caught bass in the 6 pound range on those bent hooks with no problems-p-
