Has anyone fish Welsh lately? I was thinking of going down there over xmas. What is the water level like and water temps?? Thanks for any info.

It is up quite a bit, a lot stumps just under the water. Went out before the last front and water temp was in the low 70's. Hope this helps.

Looks 2 foot above last year. I went last sunday and fishing was good

Welsh has one of those pipes as a spillway up at the east end of the dam. I was there a week ago and the water was going over the top of the pipe/spillway a few inches deep. The lake is exactly at full pool. Could only be fuller during a flood.
