Hello bccougar i went there yesterday Sunday and i ended with 14, i fished the 1097 bridge and i caught 8 at 26 ft down closer to the middle and later in the eve i moved to the Bentwater end and caught 6 real quick at 20 ft down. It has not been as good as in the past as like the fall of 2010 it was easy to get a limit but back then i was mainly fishing the 1375 bridge and now i can't get a bite there and the following years the numbers fell, i think the crappie population is suffering from that drought and no cover for the fry to hide in.

I appreciate the info. It seems like there may be fewer fish, but there have been some real big ones. Hopefully the water will stay up this spring and have a better spawn

Yeah i hope it stays up too but who knows what the water level is going to do because of that new pipe installed at the dam, but thats a whole new topic, lol!
