When you have not been fishing for a little while, the lake seem so foreign. The lake is low. Hidden Cove sustained some damage during past winter storm.

What a beautiful day to be out. Water temperature is a cool 45.7. Wind was light from the west. Clear blue sky and the barometric pressure? I did not check. Scanned over several humps that I have always fished but no one was home. So I ran to an open space in the middle of the lake and started deadsticking after locating them. I have fished three years in LL but I have never deadsticked here. If today is any indication, deadsticking is gonna be great on LL.

Fished from about 1 to 4:30 with dad. Met GoFishNow and PastorJohn, pleasure meeting you gentlemen! Great day made better by cooperating fish. Used slabs just drifting after finding fish. Bites were light so have you hold on to your rods! Here are some pictures.

A few shout out:
1. Dr. Whiplash, I am almost ready for some deadsticking with you and ladies man! Toon still in the shop.
2. Etu, I think brought some Tawokoni sandies back with me to LL! Yeah!
3. Yanny get well soon so we can fish together.
4. Big brother Bon, when are you gonna be able to fish?

Do you know what dirty sox smells like?

It was nice to finally meet you Rick. Good job on filling your cooler! Pictured is John with our big one of the day.
Thank you John for taking me fishing on this beautiful Sunday in December. Only wish we would have stayed on the lake a little longer so I didn't have to watch the last half of the Cowboy game.

Nice looking fish there Pastor John. I got home early for chores. Thank goodness I missed that debacle. It's really hard being a Cowboys fan for the past two decades.

Man you are right about the crappie condo PittState. I started trying to learn how to catch some those crappie. Here is hopefully the first on many crappie from the dock.

Here is what we did with the sandies caught today. Fresh and yummy. Pan seared on olive oil in sweet Thai chili sauce with cilantro. Simple but tasty especially when the fish are fresh.

Good to know the fish can be caught with that cold water. Congratulations to all you guys. Nice photos. I may give it a try later this week.

Yesterday on Lewisville was great. Sunny with very little wind. I want to thank Ron, GoFishNow for helping me get my HDS7 tuned in. It is perfect now. Thank you to Rick, gaspasser for showing us how its done. I really learned a lot Sunday. The people on this forum are great. We did not catch any big fish but I think we would have if we had stayed longer. I will try again on Tuesday.

View as I went in for the day.
