I rod that I have confidence in my worm fishing is my Abu Garcia Veracity rod. It's a 7' MH with a fast action tip. This is a extremely light weight and very sensitive rod. This rod has the softest tip for casting those baits accurately and gets into the backbone quickly helping me to get those fish out of the cover.

Check out the Powell Inferno rods. Not a huge selection, but the Inferno rods cover multiple applications, ss guides, and a price that's right.
