I was headed up 75 today and heard a pop under the hood, at first I thought the belt broke, but after I opened the hood I found a hose connector broke. Have any of y'all seen this happen? If so is it just old and brittle. The truck is a 2011 F-250 6.7 Thanks.

You can replace it with a silicone intercooler hose for a fraction of what you paid. I've seen them withstand over 50 pounds of pressure regularly on a HP truck.

yeah its a piece of [censored] design to the point that we keep a spare in each of our company trucks. H$S offers a replacement, but it requires to removal of the throttle valve assembly and some software modifications to fool the ECU into not looking for the throttle valve actuator. Its a complete POS. They always break in the same spot, ours are the detuned version C&C trucks @ 300 hp.
