So, I don't need anything for Christmas, but family can be relentless. Any good fly fishing related Christmas lists would be appreciated! And, for the record, we can forget about the young lady in the "Real Texas Trout" post. I already have one of those.

A new 5 weight line. 25 ish assorted tapered leaders An outfitted and guided trip on the Devils A guided big fish trip below PK A 6 day hill country river hop tour WITHOUT 800 miles of driving (so I guess that means it includes a chartered helicopter) A 22 ft touring kayak and a generous grant that includes a sawsall and some resin so's to out fit it into my new high speed fish and wade flyrod ready kayak idea. Another generous grant and access to a fab shop so's to perfect my kayak paddle wheel propulsion idea (weedless and weed bed, shallow bottom accommodating effing genius idea)
OR
Just a simple great weather's coming coupon with three or four friends and a brother's name on it that reads "We'll Go Tomorrow - 'F' Work For One Day!"
All this stuff is better than another vest or dip net.

The ONLY reason to fish with a fly rod in Texas is to throw a POPPER, casting any other type fly just means you're doing something.

I can sure help you with the Land Cruiser! I have an FJ60 sitting right outside, under a huge Christmas tree, with your name on it. As for that thing on top ... what the heck is that?

pontoons! converts to a boat (sort of)... per craigslist "Last owner spent major money to turn this fj to a survival car in case of tsunami. He modified it to add pontoon type side carts to stay on top of water and added a pto system with a propellor system in the back which is not installed yet. In case of flood you jump in your truck and drive or cruise away." I think one of your guys should get it and float down the brazos...
Let us hope that the bass do not find the equivalent of the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.

Love those old Land Cruisers! Very utilitarian, and reminded me of the older Land Rovers. Someone did a very nice job of restoring that Cruiser.

That's inspiring. So this means I actually have a boat sitting out in the street? My wife will be even happier now!
