I go there sometimes its brackish water fresh and saltwater have some big gar in it, it hold reds to and gators lol.

yea i have seen some really nice reds. havnt seen the gators yet but i have heard about them lol. always got an eye out for them

I fish at the park and down off red bluff where they have the floating piers. The best spot used to be near the condos, but they fenced it off now.

they have more of those piers further down?? i have seen one but heard bad things about it so i never tried it out.

Yeah the 2 on Redbluff are the floating type I have fished those for the last 4yrs and never had a problem. Its more fresh water in that are bluegills etc.

I used to fish both places (park/white piers) on the regular, but caught more far than anything. Try and get a kayak and paddle around Taylor Lake, I've caught some massive doormat flounders plus a couple reds every now and then in there. You could also go to port road and stop at the bridge and cross over the traintracks and fish where that light tower is.

Yeah that's a good spot for some big gars, it's pretty calm once you hit the bend from the white floating piers. I have caught gar off those piers to using cut mullet with a bobber.
