Anyone been recently? Went early last week abd launched at juniper west. It was low but still functional on the right side. Planning on going tomorrow. Any recent report?

Just been waiting for the Ice to clear off the ramp.... Been a solid sheet for days.... (Buncombe) Maybe in a couple of hours....  Straw

The ramp is clear, but the road leading into it was covered with a thick sheet of ice this morning. I was unable to launch there due to a construction barrier up blocking the entrance.

Hmmmm..wonder what they're doing..I drove there yesterday and road was fine and ramp fine as well
In fact sAw 5 trucks that had launched boats also..something musta happened over night

That's pretty cold Chris.
I didn't end up getting to fish this morning unfortunately. After discovering the ramp at juniper west was closed, I also discovered a burnt smell coming from my trailer.Turns out my drum brake was stuck on while I was driving down the highway and as a result smoked that bearing. Ended up spending the morning in a shop getting the repair done.
