Has anybody ever seen a gator in Lake O The Pines? I know there are 1,000 lb catfish in Pines that gobble up K-9's and have been spotted a few times by cross-eyed meth heads but what about gators? http://bassangler.blogspot.com/2006/07/lake-o-pines-catfish-eats-dog.htmlPretty much all of the lake is fished or hunted heavily so I feel like if there are gators there, somebody has seen them.

Been all around it, lot of time in the swamp and never seen one at Pines.
Toledo, Rayburn, Livingston (full of them), Caddo are about the only lakes in East Texas I have seen them.
People say Fork, but I never go into Caney where they live. Never seen them in other parts of the lake. BUT a monster was shot in Caney last year.
Choke Canyon has some good uns.

However, myself and many others spend a good bit of time between Hwy 155 and Hwy 259 and I have never heard of anybody seeing gators. Over the last couple years, with the lake as low as it has been, I would have expected some sightings if they were present.

We have alligators in most of the North/East Texas lakes.
They have kind of made a living at not being seen.

Choke canyon has monsters i mean monsters if tpwd would leave them alone there would be world records in that lake an 18 year old kid shot the state record there not to long ago. Dont know why but they grow gators so big but that lake does get gators that would make florida and Louisiana jealous .
