Any of you Dobyns guys out there try the new Dobyns Champion 806CB yet? Also does anyone know when the will be available (if they aren't already)? Any feedback on what you thought about it would be great.

I have one and love it. I throw big swim baits and the alabama rig on it. I have a shimano 300 on it and i can sling an arig a country mile and cover some water.

There was a video posted on BassBoatCentral in the Rods and Reels section talking about the rod but it does not answer your question of when it will be available.

I saw how far you were throwing that A-rig last week. I meant to ask you at the ramp that day what rod you were throwing it on. Now I know!

Does anyone know if this rod can be used throw a 10xd as well? Looking for a rod that I can throw either an A-rig or 10xd.

I believe this rod was designed specifically for 10XD and other magnum crankbaits
