I agree, no clue what is causing them. I went back in the well records and this area shows very few and none within the last 30 yrs or so. Ole mother earth does some strange stuff sometimes.

No earthquakes down here next to Ft Hood, but man these gun bunnies are driving me nuts every night with their field artillery exercises (that ptsd has me lookin for the nearest bunker when I feel the walls shake on our house...lol)

Where I live, there are NO natural disasters. And, it's a good thing 'cause I'm a light sleeper,...it's gotta be dark and silent and still for me to sleep. Don't wake me up unless it's for something I like.

Need to improve my LMB fishing, running out of time.

Thanks, sorry let my dang health get to me too seriously. Anyway thank you.
Well, as far as the 'earthquakes', we now have had 24, TWENTY FOUR!! I am thinking like the poster in Weatherford - earthquake insurance.
At the least I hope it doesn't affect the lakes, we are LOW enough on water, at the most I sure don't want ANYONE hurt or their homes damaged!
I have inquired to the Texas RR Commission and got a 'stock answer'. That is the part that really PO'd me.
Just want some investigation and not a stock answer.
Now, lets get some rain/warmer weather and CATCH SOME FISH!!!

I believe that there is a fault line that runs parallel to I-10 at long point. Its nothing too bad but it is there and it does move.

Lee, Don't get upset, those little jiggles are nothing. I moved here from California. Out there these little guys are commonplace. Ridgecrest California has thousands of them every year. I was living on the epicenter of the Northridge quake. In 1994 I believe. The quake was reportedly a 6.9 on the Richter scale. The U. S. Geological survey sent everyone in my zip code a flyer that said the rating was 9.2 in our zip code. Each decimal point in the ratings is TEN times stronger than the previous one. I was up, loading my truck for a trip to northern Calif. at About 4:00 A. M. when that one happened. I'm 6 feet tall, and was thrown up in the air, and saw the stars beneath my feet. I was living in a new house I had just built in the foothills. The quake probably only lasted a minute or so, but it seemed like slow motion. As I looked out across the valley, I saw things I couldn't believe, 200 year old oaks jumping in and out of the ground. The sky was all lit up, red, blue, green. I figured the Russkies had dropped the big one. My driveway snaked up the hillside about 300 feet. It looked like a giant was shaking it like you would your living room rug. I turned around and looked at my house. It looked like a little train one minute climbing little hills, the next going down them. I figured, this place is going to be nothing but a greasy spot when this is all over. We had aftershocks in the 5.0 class for a month afterwards. Everything in my cupboards , furniture, and closets was thrown out on the floor and broken. My home, being brand new and built to the newest standards, incredibly suffered only a six inch crack in the drywall. Even the driveway was not cracked. Owners of older homes were not so lucky. My neighbors home was reduced to rubble. I'm glad I was awake and outside , and able too see all this when it happened, but I never want to go through it again. As for the little jiggles out here, gotta be the fracking man. I'm no geologist or anything but I do have at least half a brain.

We've been Fracking wells since 1948 in Texas. That area is close to fault line.

We haven't been fracking horizontally since that time. Big difference. I thought SMU geologists released a study that did show horizontal fracking is the reason for the quakes. We also have not been injecting the volume of saltwater into the deeper formations that we do now.

Well, I just believe, I/we, have NOT been told the 'whole' story.
Have lived in Texas since 1960. Until this year, never experienced even ONE of these things.
Sure seems kinda funny doesn't it?
Just my 2 cents... scared
