One way to find out what is the best bait(Brand or color) be it grubs or whatever creature bait you choose would be to use a A-Rig or Umbrella Rig with 5 different Brand baits or however many your rig will handle and whichever the bass chooses to eat theres your answer about as easy as a result you can get let the bass choose for you. smile

I've used the strike king coffee tubes for t rigging and the smaller ones for drop shot and the yum vibra king for flipping. Not really a tube because it's solid but the Yamamoto Fat Ika is awesome. Totally different deal. It's like a really heavy senko that's also a tube.

I have always used ZOOM for all my soft plastic baits including tubes just because they are the cheapest and you can find them at Walmart. Looks like I need to try some other brands!

I would put the lft craw tube against any other tube for flipping and almost any other bait for that matter. For open water its all about color and rate of fall.

Depends on application. But most of the time a 4" Fat Jack gets it done for me.

These are the 3 that I have used and caught fish on but I mostly just fish them in the spring when fish are on beds.

Those are the three I use as well. You have to experiment with them on any given day the fish want one over the other.

Tubes IMO are a great compliment to a jig fisherman. Because if they aren't eating a jig, they are eating a tube and vice versa. The fish very similar in that most bites come on the fall.

El Grande tubes is my go to. I don't know if it's the shorter tail, or what. But I like them. I also use the Strike King cofee tubes.

The 4in. Magnum Pitching Tube from BPS has been my go to bait for many years. Fish what you have Confidence in. They will all catch fish, the one you use the most is the one you will catch the most fish on. Keith
