I'm liking that DRS....but still too rich for my blood on the LC crankbaits. Awesome bait....thanks for sharing.

Don't worry about price, I'd imagine by about the 2 minute mark some manufacturer out there started making a new mold.

Not that they're much cheaper, but Spro has a lot of lures with that same thud type rattle in them.

Xcite Baits has one called the XB1, they are nice and have some great colors too.

Those XB-1's are great. That tungsten bearing makes a super loud knock, and the weight transfer system enables you to cast it a looong ways. They are priced much lower than others, at around $7.99

I don't have any LC square bills. My reason for posting the video was technique. I use H20, KVD/Strike King and some Team Daiwa square bills.

I do think that some of the manufacturers will develop a bait with the same rattle in it without a doubt. That is just the business.

I do have a plug knocker because I do go after mine...

I don't like H2O square bill baits. The lip breaks off so easy that they are definitely more expensive to fish with than even the LC cranks. I have 15 year old LC cranks that still catch fish like the day I bought them. Most/all of my H2O cranks break in less than a day of fishing.

I'm not a big LC fan though. For square bills ,I have found the Xcalibur XCS100/200/300 baits to be very good. They are all silent though. Xcalibur has a one knocker line, but they have not made the XCS in it yet to my knowledge.

The Xcalibur are a better made and more consistent than the Strike King cranks too. I'd argue the quality is as good as Lucky Craft and I just bought several of them for $5 on special at Cabela's. They are regularly $6.75-$7.
