I was wondering the same! I'd like to get out there tomorrow, but don't want to make that trip (in the ice), if the state hasn't stocked.

I think they were supposed to stock the 5th.Dont see why they couldnt do it since they are right on the river and run them down a cement shoot.

Yep. They're in there. They didn't stock by the bridge though, up by a dock that I've never been to. He said you park by the bridge and follow a trail to the dock.
Said the road from Mineral Wells isn't bad.
Be nice to be there ahead of the crowds that are liable to come next weekend.

DOCK? What Dock? I have fished from highway 16 bridge all the way to the dam & down to Stripper Corner and there is no dock anywhere on that stretch of river????

Just the messenger chief. If you have been there since 2005 you've been there more recently than I.
How would you describe the layout?

That stripper corner sounds interesting. Lol

Well at least I wasn't the only one thrown off by the dock thing. That is a good corner though:) I have been just driving the extra two hours to Brokenbow there is a chance that a private landowner put some sort of dock out there. But I understand don't kill the messenger just makes me curious. Might not have to drive to cotter for a trout dock lol. Has anyone been this year? Is it the same ol same ol 8-10" fish?

I spoke to the driver when he was releasing at Greenbriar, he says the trout are bigger this year.
From what I caught and saw others catching I'd say 11 inches is about the average this year.

Would anyone care to carpool out there Thursday?
I got room in my s10 for plenty of gear and one other fisherman.
Icy guides might be a problem so might have to go with ultralight spincast.
