Yep, nice new law!
Let's see, bass fishing has been going on sice the 70's.
Wake boarding came to light in the 2000's.
I Never heard of zebra muscles in the 70's, 80's,or 90's.
So, maybe wake boats who's ballasts hold a lot more water than my livewell are the one's who should have sanctions imposed. Wouldn't hurt my feelings if they outlawed the d$&mb things from inland fisheries. All they do is transport Zebra muscles and cause shoreline erosion.
Typical Government, can't see the forest for the trees.

Taking 5 to the weigh-in occurs when opportunity meets successful execution of one's preparation.

As a general rule I think it's a pretty good idea to try and keep the darn things in check, regardless of the type of watercraft you use . However I can also foresee a lot of people who will ignore the requirement as well. Much of the attitude displayed here carries over onto the water so I don't have much confidence there will be much more than 75% or so compliance if that much. And we all know the resources are not there for the state to enforce even to that extent so I'm thinking more bark here than bite.
