Funny Updated information!!! laugh clap And yes they gave me permission to share the details....

Prior to JD arriving the two men tried to get off the sandbar(claybar) for 2 hours, they took off their pants to wade in the knee high 52 degree water to push the boat. When JD arrived the 2 men were still in their underwear eeks

And finally they got to do some fishing and caught 9

Way to go JD. That's what fishermen do. They help one another. That was a sacrifice to make but was a sacrifice well taken. There is no way most of us would ever leave anyone, especially two 80 year-old gentlemen, out there. I'm kind of shocked the other boat left without offering to send further help or call local authorities for assistance. Either way this is what life is all about. The world would have you believe there are no good people left and that's just not true.

The first helper was a very nice guy and tried everything he could do to help. My uncle thanked him and told him he would call for help or call for emergency help if necessary. It was all good smile

I was on a trip with JD once this year and he was great...both at finding fish and as a good person. This doesn't surprise me....but it makes me feel good that there are people like this still around.

JD you are an example for all of us.....God Bless You
